Rurutu (French Polynesia)

Rurutu is an island in the Southern Archipelago. Its calm waters are suitable for whales looking for a tranquil environment.

From July to October, Rurutu becomes a place where humpback whales, especially, rising from the cold waters of Antarctica, come to give birth.
